Wild About Game (aka WAG)

For nearly 20 years, Nicky USA, a Portland-based butcher and purveyor of specialty game, would gather premier chefs, mixologists and vendors from around the Pacific Northwest to take part in a friendly and incredibly delicious competition, Wild About Game (better known as WAG) to showcase their talent using products offered by Nicky and vendor partners. Portland chefs were paired with Seattle chefs to vie for the title in categories based on the meat or game they were given and for the overall championship title. The results were always outstanding and as the much-anticipated event grew in popularity over the years, with folks traveling great distances to attend and sample the fare, the design needs grew as well. Items like invitations, brochures, posters, forms, endless signage, menus, wearable swag, glassware and plates and social media elements all helped to bring a well-branded, cohesive and memorable look to this much-loved Northwest food experience.
