Hawaiian Electric Animated Holiday eCards

In 1926, Hawaiian Electric began promoting the use and benefits of electric appliances to Hawaiian residents through its Home Services Department, “The Electric Kitchen.” The program has grown and evolved over the decades and is still active today through a monthly newsletter that continues to share helpful tips and recipes. In recent years, during the winter holidays, Hawaiian Electric has sent out a fun, animated eCard greeting featuring a special seasonal recipe for its customers and wishing them happy holidays. This effort also encourages viewers to follow Hawaiian Electric on various social media channels and directs them to the Electric Kitchen section of their website, where they can find additional recipes and tips.
